1. What do you love about being a writer?
I love finding out who my characters are. I mean, I go in thinking they’ll be one way, but then they surprise me. It’s an amazing feeling. Well, at least when they surprise me in a good way LOL. Sometimes I want to smack them. J
2. Paranormal Romance has definitely become a kick-ass genre in the past decade with more books than ever- what drew you to writing PNR as well? Especially about werewolves?
Paranormal was the first type of romance I ever read. I love opening new worlds and going crazy. I love werewolves because they’re so earthy and animalistic, their growls just wash over your skin. I love them!
3. This book had quite a bit of violence- and *ahem* steamy scenes as well- why was that necessary to the relationship between Jasper and Willow? Could things have still progressed the way it had, if their relationship had taken a more natural route?
I did get a bit violent didn’t I? This is just the story that came to me. I wanted to break them down before they could even get together to see what would happen as their pieced their relationship together. They really are made for each other and the fact that they can get through some of the worst imaginable things makes me love them even more.
I think they could have been mates and everything would have been fine without the big issues *no spoilers here LOL*. But without them, I don’t know if they would have looked into their relationship like they did and tested it without it.
4. Not including the heroes and heroines so far of the Redwood Pack Series, who is your favorite character and why?
Not including Melanie, Kade, Jasper and Willow? Maddox. I love him. His story is going to be painful to write emotionally for me, but worth it. Adam though is slowly creeping up in my heart.
5. What makes Jasper a sexy hero?
Well, his eyes, sexy body and growl? Well, yes, he has that. But his ability to put himself aside to act in his role as Beta and to be a mate to Willow really made him sexy to me.
6. I am completely in love with Maddox- do you have anything planned for him? And can you give us any hints *bats her eyelashes in earnest*?
Ha! Me too! Oh I have something planned. Something that is scaring me a bit. But my crit partner is holding me as I write some of the preliminaries. I can’t wait. His heroine is actually my favorite.
I will tell you he’s NOT book 1-4. As there are seven books and seven siblings you know they will each get one. Kade was book 1, An Alpha’s Path. Jasper’s book is book 2, A Taste for a Mate. Reed is the next book, Trinity Bound. And Adam will get his turn in book 4, Enforcer’s Redemption.
7. If you were left on a deserted island, what three things would you absolutely have to have with you?
Let’s pretend all my basic needs are taken care of so I can have fun LOL. I would take my Kindle, Coke & my kitten(s). (I know I know, but they help me write LOL)
8. And finally… what was with that ending? Is there anything you can tell us about Reed’s story?
*snort* Would I really leave you in a lurch like that? LOL. Reed’s story leaves off right at the end of A Taste for a Mate and is called Trinity Bound. It’s out April 2nd, so not too far away. It’s my first m/m/f. So Reed gets not one, but TWO mates. J
Thanks so much for having me!

But evil beyond even Jasper’s supernatural compensation will make war against him, by going after the only thing in his eternal life he desires – Willow. Is Willow’s heart enough to overcome Jasper’s soul to save her life? A fight he cannot win, but to save her life – he must.
REVIEW:
Werewolves! Love them! And I have to say this book sets up some really yummy wolf action! Want to know what I enjoyed about it??
This book started really well for me and had all kinds of anticipation and tension building up, but then suddenly it started to move too fast way too quickly and I just didn't find myself connecting with the characters like I should have.
However the middle of the book picked up and it got so much better!Jasper as the hero is sweet and amazing- he definitely gives the book that extra kick! I really liked the romance between Willow and Jasper- it was sensual, even down-right erotic at times but so sweet, I was so happy when they could finally be happy together!
Overall, I am interested in reading the rest in the series, Jasper's brothers are hot! Especially Maddox, fingers crossed that his book will be the spiciest of them all!

Your next one is an M/M/F? That sounds so very tempting. YUM. And I will add that I'd want my kitties with me too...and my hubby. He could build a fire, build a shelter, and likely build a boat! He'd be very handy on a deserted island.
